Walter Leon Pierce, 76, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went to be with the lord, on August 23, 2022. Walter was born on November 15, 1945 to Willard and Eddie Mae Pierce in Okmulgee, Oklahoma where he attended school and grew up. Walter was blessed with many siblings whom loved and cared for him during his incredible life.
Walter married the love of his life, Anita Pierce, and enjoyed 37 wonderful years.
Walter was a great cook, loved to crack jokes, and never had a bad day. He was a particular man, always ensuring everything was neat and organized. He was known for his big jolly laugh and was loved by every person who was fortunate enough to cross paths with Walter. He was a movie fanatic and could be found enjoying an action packed film or watching the Rocky films. Besides being loved and cared for by many, he was an exceptional Father and loving Grandpa. He will be sorely missed.
Walter is with Anita again, after her passing in 2020, whom he missed terribly. He loved and Cherished Anita, dearly.
Walter is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Anita Pierce; siblings, Alva Lois Pierce, Willard Henry Pierce, Leslie Mae Pierce, Willie Mae Pierce, James Lee Pierce and Rodney Pierce.
He is survived by his Daughter, Ashley Charles, of Edmond, Oklahoma; Son, Ari Pierce, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Grandson, Avery Charles; Goddaughter, Lani Griensevic; siblings, Jerry Pierce (Joyce Pierce) Tulsa, Oklahoma, Angela McKnight (Kenneth) Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mary Anne Jefferson (Robert,) Tulsa, Oklahoma, Donald Ray Johnson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gina Brinkley, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Alfonzo Pierce, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Pierce, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
