Wanda,   I loved you so very much. You were so sweet to me and my whole family. You did always have such a beautiful smile. I did not know you were gone. My name is Chaplain Okechukwu Nwaneri and I was Ms Wanda's chaplain at Tinker Air Force Base. She would always give the firmest hugs after I give my sermons and would always say "I love you, Chaplain." She was always in good spirits even if she was in pain and she never held back when it came to loving on folks. I will forever miss that. Rest easy Ms. Wanda!!! I love you.

I met Wanda at Tinker Lanes when I was first assigned to Tinker AFB.  She was a ray of sunshine.  She was always there with a smile and a big hug.  I grew to love Wanda and her family as a family of my own.  When I came back to Tinker after retiring from the Air Force she was still there with her smiling face and of course, the biggest hug in the world.  Wanda, I am going to miss you so much.  My heart aches.  I know you are in a better place and no longer in any pain.  RIP my dear friend.  My deepest sympathies and love go out to Dennis and the rest of the family. I first met Wanda over three decades ago.  She was the most kind, loving and caring person that I have had the privilege to know.
Along with her many talents, she was beautiful inside and out.
Her passing is a great loss for all that knew her, but she will forever live in our memory.
I will always think of Wanda when I see someone smile or hear a kind word,  and will forever be reminded of her every time I receive a comforting hug.
She was an angel on earth, and is now in heaven.

I am so saddened by this news.  I knew Wanda for many years as she and I were assigned to the same unit together at Tinker.  I knew her first as a consummate ambassador of Tinker's world-class bowling center where her smile was infectious and her customer service and customer caring superior.  I then knew her as the "Face of Services" to Tinker's industrial area while she was assigned to the gift corner as the on-site manager.  She maintained one of the finest Services establishments on Tinker, exposed to a customer base reaching into the thousands.  Her breadth of experience and knowledge in her field was the perfect fit at the Gift Corner for one looking for that perfect gift, card or ornament  symbolizing the vast Tinker industrial complex.  There will never be another like her. 

My mom & dad, Amanda & Don Bednarski, bowled with Wanda & Dennis.  I remember being at the Tinker Bowling Alley watching them bowl and having a good time.  Then I had the pleasure of seeing Wanda almost daily in the Bldg 3001 gift shop.  She always had the biggest smile and the best hugs for me.  Heaven is receiving a ready-made angel.   

I met Wanda about 20 years ago at the base resturant.  She was like a mother to me. I always called her mom seeing how my parents were in Illinois  and she always treated like her daughter. She always made me feel special and I would do anything I could for her. Yes heaven has recieved a very special angel! I will miss her beautiful smile and friendship. Many prayers  to  the whole family  but especially  to pop's. I know he will be lost without his Wanda by his side.

My wife Pam and I had the pleasure of meeting Wanda and Dennis while visiting their son Darin, and his shift of Midwest City firefighters for lunch in 2019. Wanda immediately made us feel very welcome even though we had just met her and Dennis,  and by the end of lunch we felt like part of their family. Her warm smile and sweet spirit are what we remember most, in addition  to their kind generosity and friendship. We love you Darin,  and will be holding you and your entire family close in our thoughts and prayers my brother.

It was such an honor to have met Wanda and been her friend.  I first met her when she was working at the Gift Shop just inside the Base Resturant, Bldg 3001, TAFB.  She just had the best attitude and was always happy.  She was such a "Classy Lady".  My thoughts are prayers are with her family.

I first met Wanda on a bowling league at TAFB then later at the gift shop in Bldg 3001.  She never changed; always  happy,  sunny disposition and a smile that could light up the world.  She will be missed by many.

Bé and I first met Wanda within two weeks of first arriving in OK 29 years ago. Got to know her through bowling and then church. Without fail, every time I saw her she had a smile that was as radiant as her big heart. Heaven has gained a tremendous asset that we will all miss dearly. Please know we all are praying for the entire family for your loss. 🙏🙏
