

When she was 18 she moved to Denver and worked for the Bell Telephone Company and met her husband Kenneth McAffrey who was in the Air Force. She happily retired from Tinker Air Force Base where she worked at the gift shop in building 3001.
Becoming a Military wife allowed her to travel around the world with her husband Kenneth. They lived in Germany, Libya, Texas, Denver, Nebraska, Kansas, and finally Midwest City Oklahoma.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, working in the yard, fishing, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and spending time with her church family.
She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, sister; Opal Elgin, brother; Tommy Maley, and husband; Kenneth McAffrey.
She is survived by her sons; Kenneth R McAffrey Jr. his wife Jacki of Yukon, Oklahoma, Michael McAffrey and his wife Elizabeth of Littleton, Colorado, and Doug McAffrey and his wife Michelle of Newalla, Oklahoma, daughter; Cathy McAffrey of Forney, Texas, niece; Joy Ann Clark of Amarillo, Texas, and nephew; Mike Maley of McAllister, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Chris McAffrey, Jennifer and husband James Thiessen, Stephanie McAffrey, Nicole and husband Blake Elliott, Patrick McAffrey, and Megan and Aaron McAffrey, great-grandchildren; Sean and Mary McAffrey, Alyssa and Samantha Largent, and Chloe and Reed Elliott.
She was loved by numerous family and friends.
