Wanda Ruth Richards, 90, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away June 27, 2015. She was born October 1, 1924 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Lee Ander and Letha Grace Patrick "Shiplet" Davis. Wanda lived in the Midwest City, Oklahoma area for 45 years. During WWII, Wanda did her part by becoming a “Rosie the Riveter” at Douglas Field, now known as Tinker Air Force Base. She enjoyed fishing and woodcraft painting. Wanda is survived by one daughter, Diane Nees and husband Paul; one son, Reggie Richards; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Joni, Cameron, Corbitt, Robbie and Cindy; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe Richards, and all of her siblings. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
