Wanda Lee Ross, 83, of Oklahoma City, passed away on May 7, 2010. She was born in Payson, OK, on April 27, 1927, to Oscar and Edith Willoughby and lived in or near Meeker and Prague throughout her childhood years. She met and married the love of her life, Allen Ross, on December 25, 1946. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1946 where Wanda attended Paul’s Beauty College. She went on to open her own beauty salon, which she operated for 35 years. Wanda was a long-time member of Meridian Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Winfred. Wanda is survived by her husband of 63 years, Allen Ross; three daughters: Kathryn Frazier, Beverly Shirley & husband Jim Nance, and Mary Lanoy & husband Henry; sister, Billie Eakins & husband Richard; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
