Wenceslado R. Ruiz passed away May 15, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. “Wenchie” was born April 27, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas, to Tony and Tomasa Ruiz; he was the baby of the family with four older brothers; Eliseo, Roel, James and Placido, and one older sister, Dolores. Wenchie is survived by his wife Sara, son Wenceslado R. Ruiz, III, and daughter Veronica; grandchildren, Theresa, Isaac, Rose, Desiree, Lance, Aaliyah and Trinity as well as his brother Placido. Wenchie was loved by all his family and friend. He will be missed but never forgotten. A Memorial Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
