

Wesley Grant Bain, 85, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 surrounded by his family. Wes was a retired Battalion Chief for the City of Midwest City. He enjoyed riding motor cycles, Corvettes became a hobby later in life and he had the cleanest cars around, even the underneath would be clean and shiny. His footwear was also clean and shiny. He enjoyed hunting, camping and water skiing, Sunday dinners, and cooking out with his family. He loved to travel to Florida to meet up with his family and friends. He was an avid Ham Radio Operator and he loved talking around the world.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Wesley was preceded in death by his father, Earl Bain; mother, Emma Bain; his wife of 66 years, Peggy; and his son David.
He was so very proud of his boys and grandsons following in his career to become Oklahoma Firefighters. He was active in the creation of the Oklahoma State Firefighters Memorial.
Wesley leaves behind his son, Chris and wife, Joy; daughter, Sandra and husband Darrell Otto; daughter in-law Adra Ann Bain; grandchildren, Joel and wife Megan; Kristen Bain; Alison and husband James Perry; Jesse and wife Courtney; Katy Otto and Timothy Otto; great-grandchildren, Aria Perry; Emma Bain; Conner Bain; Claire Bain and Copper Bain.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:00a.m. at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 North Midwest Boulevard, Midwest City, Oklahoma 73141.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Firefighters Memorial.
