

William G Scholz was born on August 27th, 1921 in San Antonio, TX and departed this life on September 16, 2016 at the age of 95. “Sonny” married Mary Louise “Sweetie” Orr on November 4, 1944, shortly after returning from the war.
His passion was always his love for her and his four daughters, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He also loved golfing, going to the lake and Oklahoma State football games.
During his 28 years of military service, he rose the rank of Lt. Colonel, accumulating over 9,000 hours of flight time as a pilot. Then, “Bill” worked at Tinker Air Force Base as Flight Manual’s Manager for twenty years.
He was also a Master Mason, 32 Degree Shriner, a member of the 310th Bomb Wing Historical Society and member of the Daedalians.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2016, at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with interment to follow before at Arlington Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneralhome.com.
