

Jenson, Willow Lucille, went to her heavenly home on October 18, 2011. She was born in Kennedy, Oklahoma which is in the Southeast part of Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Wayne Edward Jenson and two daughters, Connie and Diane Jenson; 2 grandsons, Jenson Blake Isham and Cory Shawn Porter; 2 great-grandchildren, Alexander Porter and Wade Jenson Isham;1 brother, Richard Baldwin ;one sister, Pat Lynch of Wister, Ok. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dollie and Bob Baldwin and 2 brothers Pheland and Iree Baldwin. Lucille had a beauty shop in her home in the late 50’s and early 60’s in Oklahoma City. She loved her job and took pride in each customer’s hair. They moved to Poteau, OK in 1961 and bought a furniture store. Lucille and her husband Wayne worked as a team in operating their business. After retiring from the furniture business they both decided to work at other jobs. Lucille went to work at Carl Albert Jr. College in Poteau, OK. She retired from the college after working 15 years and she never missed one days work in all those years. She then worked in a dress boutique for several years. She was a devout Christian and an active member of the Nazarene church, serving on the Board of Directors and was the church treasurer for more than 10 years plus years at the Church of Nazarene in Poteau, OK. She loved to quilt and over the years she quilted a quilt for each of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and loved to work in her yard. She was an exceptionally good cook and was always baking a pie for someone. She will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Council Road Baptist Church Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11 Am. A graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery at 2PM Friday, October 21, 2011 in Poteau, Ok. Viewing will be at Evans-Miller funeral home in Poteau Thursday evening and Friday morning.
