Adie was born in Overland Park, Kansas, on June 9, 2009, to Johnny and Maria Cecilia M. Balino. She attended elementary school at Curé of Ars Catholic School and continued her education at Bishop Miege High School.
Adie had a true passion for the arts. She had been involved in both theater and choir since her freshman year of high school. Her junior year, she secured her dream role as Sophie Sheridan in the musical “Mamma Mia” and absolutely shined on stage. In addition to acting and singing on stage, she was also involved in the behind-the-scenes work and used her artistic skills by creating props for the theater department.
She was vice president of her high school choir and qualified for Kansas state district choir 3 years in a row. Adie had multiple academic achievements, including a spot in the National Honor Society as treasurer, yearly academic excellence awards, and a 4.0 GPA. She was heavily involved in the forensics team and was named the vice president. Although Adie never got to finish her academic career, she had dreams of becoming a forensic toxicologist and attending Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to these extracurricular activities, Adie loved spending time with her family, especially her siblings and her cousins. She also loved spending time with all of her best friends and her boyfriend. Some activities that you could find them doing together would be eating yummy foods, drinking matcha, singing karaoke, watching TV, anime, movies, and musicals, collecting Pokémon cards, thrifting, and spending quality time together in general.
Adie is survived by her parents, Johnny and Maria Cecilia Balino, and her siblings, Catherine Balino Viduya (Nigel) and Benedict Balino (Isabelle Myers), her dog, Pepper, and her boyfriend, Luke Allen.
Adie will be remembered for her selflessness, boldness, talent, kindness, resilience, and endless love for her family, friends, and boyfriend. She was a true joy to everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
