Anselmo Rocha Don Juan, 44, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 11, 2020. He was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on a small ranch called, El Capulin to Buena Ventura Rocha Resendiz and Serasina Don Juan (Torres).

Anselmo moved to Dallas, Texas where he started his career working in construction and excelled at building houses. In 2002, he started a Framing Company with his brothers. He met his wife, Erma Flores and they decided to move to the city of Olathe, Kansas. Together they raised their three boys, Cesar Rocha age 21, Uriel Rocha age 14 and Olyver Rocha age 8.

He will forever be remembered by his family and friends as a great husband, a great dad, a great brother and a “GREAT” leader. He was someone who was always nice, caring, respectful and very supportive. He had a big family and always found a way to help others. My father taught me and my brothers to always be respectful to others and to always focus on the positive than the negative. He enjoyed having the whole family gather together for birthday parties, watch parties and for his favorite soccer team, “Club America”. He dedicated his life to his family, his work and to the less fortunate from his hometown, El Capulin. He lived a short but impactful life. He will be sadly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church 21650 West 115th Terrace Olathe, Kansas. Interment in Olathe Memorial Cemetery 738 North Chestnut Street Olathe, Kansas. All are welcome to gather to honor Anselmo with a final prayer and fond farewell at the cemetery, maintaining the city ordinance of social distancing. Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Friday morning, May 29th at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas.
