A.T. Holcomb

A.T. Holcomb, 76, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, surrounded by his family. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 10 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Church Of God Holiness, 616 S. Grant St. Olathe ,KS 66061. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Olathe Animal Shelter, Calamity Line Park Rose Garden c/o Olathe Parks & Recreation, and Clarkton Alumni Assoc. c/o Lisa Newton, Secretary, 105 Becky St., Clarkton, MO 63837.

A.T. was born on Feb. 2, 1938 in Hamilton, AL to Henry Booker & Icy (Wiginton) Holcomb. He graduated from Clarkton High School in 1956. He was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force. On Mar. 4, 1961, he married Gwendolyn Yates. A.T. worked in construction for Marvin Allen Builders for 30 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and the outdoors.

A.T. was preceded in death by his parents and his brother M.C. Holcomb. He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn, daughter Angela, and son Jeffrey Holcomb of Olathe, sister Atsie Lee Dugger, brother L.D. (Bonnie) Holcomb of Olathe, and many loving nieces and nephews.
