Was Deeply saddened to hear of "Uncle Basil's" passing. Will always remember him for his ability to put a smile on your face with a joke or story. Seems he always had an endless selection to pick from. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Take comfort in knowing he is with God and those he loved.

Grandpa Basil,

I’m eternally grateful to have your blood in me. I’m beginning to make a change in my life showing nothing but love and will never forget some of our last words you shared with me, “Taylor, you are a great man”. I’ve never shared such an impactful moment staring into your eyes and you back at mine. Just that connection and those words you spoke described exactly what I will strive to be as I grow older. Rest easy and say hello to Nanny for me.

Love,

Taylor

We always remember how willing Basil was to help us with building our home many years ago. He was probably as excited about it as we were. We are still enjoying that same home. Always enjoyed going to their house and visiting with them as they made us feel so welcome. The world were lucky to have Basil and Bernice as a part of it. You could always see in their eyes how much they loved each other and now they will be together for eternity. God Bless your family.

I just wanna tell you how saddened I am, but happy too. Uncle Big’s with all his family and gets to see his mom for the 1st time in over 90 years. Great huh? I’m sure he’s seen my Dad already and they whooped it up. Anyway I’ll be there in thought. Love to all. Annie

So sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of the Freeman family and living on W. 92nd Street in Lenexa, KS. Basil and Bernice were both wonderful friends and neighbors.
