Bill was always the "cool" dad in the neighborhood. I remember him setting up an obstacle course of cones in the church parking lot, for Crystal and I to learn how to ride our mopeds. He would set up a kickball field so the neighborhood kids had a place to play. One time he took Crystal and I to see George Brett and get his autograph. He was always so much fun to be around, always joking and cutting up. All you leave behind in this world is how people remember you. Bill, you will be remembered fondly and will be missed by so many. Thanks for being such a great role model for so many of us. Love, Jason

I am so sad to hear of his passing. He was like everyone's dad when I was growing up, as in he cared so much about us. We were even friends on FB to this day. Bill you will be missed. Much love and comfort to his family. Love you Bill, Suzzette Fasching-Easton

So sad to hear of Mr. Hayes passing. He was a wonderful neighbor to my Aunt/Uncle Lee & Dale Dugger for 58 years. After Uncle Dale passed If Aunt Lee ever needed anything Bill was there. Sharing food from senior dinners, calling to check on her, always offering his help. It's hard to find good neighbors but Lee/Dale had a gem in Bill Hayes. I so enjoyed visting wth him on his front porch whenever I would be at my Aunts working in the yard. Thoughts & prayers to Mrs Hayes & Crystal. God Bless you Bill Hayes.
