Brenda was born to Army Veteran Billy Frank and Barbara Jean Wright on January 29th, 1967
at St. Luke's Plaza Hospital in Kansas City, MO. After the union of George H. and Barbara Jean
Blosser, Brenda would be adopted by George, taking his last name.
As a child, Brenda was always curious about life. She enjoyed camping and hiking park trails
with her sister and mother. While in high school Brenda would volunteer as a candy striper at St.
Luke's Plaza Hospital and would learn to play clarinet at Lincoln Academy.
Brenda met Gregory Eugene Allen in 1990 while working together at NAIC. They were then wed
in 1993 and were blessed with two sons, Phillip Gregory Allen and Marcus Anthony Allen,
during their relationship. Brenda was a kindhearted, encouraging mother. She worked hard for
her children and family to provide them opportunities for growth. She supported her children
through their toughest challenges and was always willing to help where she could.
Brenda was a skilled quilter, and an avid sports fan. Chiefs Football games were best spent with
her family or friends and when tennis Opens or the Olympics began she could always be found
tuning in. Brenda was kind and welcoming to everyone she met and was always willing to help a
friend in need. Brenda was a true friend, as many who met her throughout the years will attest
to. She was funny, caring, and affectionate with everyone and had a quick wit which kept those
around her entertained.
Brenda is survived by her sons, Phillip and Marcus; her former husband Gregory; her sister,
Debora Jene Ehlmam; her half-sisters, Ellen Marie Vollers, Karen Elizabeth Larue, Cheryl Dore,
and Cynthia Winfrey; her half-brothers, Aaron Blosser and George Harley Blosser; her mother,
