Chaka Befekadu, age 59, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

A committal service for Chaka will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 Blackbob Road, Olathe, KS 66062. Following the committal service will be a funeral service from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Kidane Mehret Ethiopian Orthodox, 2915 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66102.

Serving as pallbearers are Solomon Solomon, Yirga Worknhe, Abiy Alem, Zelalm Gardew, Belay Tameru, Ephrem Tamiru, Eyob Mekonnen and Sisay Yosef.
