

Clay Edwin Morgan, 76, died June 11, 2011, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born June 10, 1935, in Racine, WI, the Son of Hiram Morgan and Gertrude Peterson. September 4, 1954 he married Arlene June Cipov in Racine, WI.
Clay was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He lived most of his life in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. He was actively involved in the community where he served for many years as Village President. He spent his last few years in Overland Park, Kansas where he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his son, daughter-in-law, teenage grandchildren and friends from the Grand Court.
His dear wife Arlene Morgan preceded him in death. His sisters Lydia and Lucille and his brother Larry also preceded him in death.
Surviving him are daughter Hope & her husband Rick Jordan, son Mark Morgan, son Stu Morgan & his wife Pam; six grandchildren, Rhiannon Jordan, Rick Jordan, Joel Morgan, Nathaniel Morgan, Tyler Morgan, and Mikaila Morgan; great grandchild Logan Schuster; sisters Dolly and Lola; goddaughters Sherry and Kerri; and other relatives and many friends. He will be fondly remembered and missed by many. His family is blessed to have had him as their patriarch and is thankful for his legacy of integrity, generosity, strength, love and humor!
Services will be held at the Grand Court, 6101 W. 119th Street, Overland Park on Friday, June 17 at 1:00 pm. A service will be held in Racine, Wisconsin. Family and friends will be notified of the time and place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
