Cydne Nicholle Boyington

Cydne Nicholle Boyington was born September 22, 1986 at the University of Kansas Hospital to Rozlyne Patrice Watt-Boyington (deceased) and Randal Scott Boyington. She attended the Developmental Learning Center, Heather Stone Elementary, California Trail Junior High, Olathe East High School and graduated from Olathe North High School Connect Program.

Although her body and mind never conformed to what the world defines as normal, she was a perfect child who grew into a beautiful woman. She never "talked", but those who knew her recognized immediately what she was saying to them, what she was requesting and what she did not want. Her body never stood alone, her legs never flexed, her feet always traveled from one spot to another in a wheel chair, but those feet never left home without wearing a pair of Coach, Nike, Converse or other sparkle shoes.

Being in her presence always left you feeling better after having spent that time with her. A simple smile, giggle or unexpected grip from her hand could make your heart smile. Ending a visit with her was always a difficult and melancholy thing to do.

Cydne's memory will be cherished and she will be greatly missed by her father Randal Boyington, her Grandmother Armenta Watt, her Caretaker Harrietta Harris, brothers Tavrous Young, Cole Boyington, Randal Boyington Jr., Jacob Boyington and sister Lauryn Boyington as well as Uncles, Charles Burnett (Bescye), Marcus Burnett (Robbin), Brian Boyington, Jeff Boyington (Nyla), Aunt Carletta Johnson, special like-a-sister, Jammie Williams and special like-a-brother, Terry Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Special Education family.

We, the members of Cydne's family express our sincere appreciation for all your acts of kindness, concern and sympathy during our loss. Our gratitude extends to each of you who have reached out to us in any way during this journey. May God forever bless you and we ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers.
