Cynthia 'Cindy" Leigh McIntire

It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia Leigh McIntire announces her passing on October 26, 2026 at the age of 52 in Edgerton, Kansas after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her family, close friends and pets.

Cindy was born on August 19, 1974, in Bridgeport, CT. In 1978, Cindy’s family relocated to Olathe, KS where she grew up and graduated from Olathe North Highschool in 1992. She worked briefly for Johnson County and Olathe Medical Center before becoming a very loyal and valued team member of Sheldon Dental Group for the last 25 years.

Cindy loved going to the lake, vacations at the beach, going to country concerts, road trips with her sisters, and just sitting around laughing and making memories with good friends. She also adored Lori and Dan’s grandkids. But most of all, she was devoted to her family and pets as they were her world.

She is survived by Kent, her loving husband of 31 years; her children, Malibu (Kameron) and Kolton (Dana) and her expected grandbaby; her sisters, Debbie Previs (daughter Lydia), Lori Sheldon (Dan) (children Morgan, Ryan and Katie); Mother-in-law Janie McIntire; and Sister-in Law Ginger McDaniel (daughters Kandi and Kira). She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Flora Previs and her father-in-law, Raymond McIntire.
