Donna Dalton

Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 60 years Ronald, sister Pamela and partner Jay, daughters Sherry and Barbara, son-in-law Robert, and her 3 treasured grandsons Jaimeson, Brayden, and Jackson.

Donna graduated from Fort Scott High School and pursued college continuing her education throughout her career. Donna was known for her kind-heartedness, patience, and abundant spirit which was never more evident than in her career serving children with special needs.

Donna found joy expressing her talent and creativity through cooking, gardening, design, and catering, but her greatest joy was spoiling her family. Showing her love in immeasurable ways, so profoundly present for everyone she loved… it truly felt like magic.

Donna was married to her dearest husband Ron for 60 years, filled with deep and abiding love, support, and respect for one another. They we blessed with two daughters, to whom she was devoted, and proudly supported throughout their lives; along with a son-in-law she loved dearly. She has three amazing grandsons; she cherished with every breath she took. Donna shared her life with her beautiful baby sister, offering her and her partner steadfast love, encouragement, and support always.

Donna was an exceptional woman who will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2026 at the McGilley and Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A small reception at the funeral home will conclude the memorial service. Graveside service for Donna will be held the following day Monday morning January 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens
