Earlene June Cramer was born on July 13, 1956, in Olathe, Kansas, to Earl and Alma Meyer. One of five sisters, she grew up with family at the center of her life and graduated from Olathe North High School. Earlene passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 69. She resided in Richmond, Kansas.
In her working life, Earlene held various jobs, meeting each season with steady devotion and a willingness to serve where she was needed. Among her most meaningful and best accomplishments was driving elderly individuals to and from their medical appointments. Work that reflected her faithful care for others and the quiet dignity with which she offered help.
In August of 1975, she married Kenneth Cramer. She was a devoted mother to two sons, Kevin and Chris McCush, and a beloved grandmother to one grandchild, Tyson McCush. She is survived by three sisters, Bonnie Hobbs, Mable White, and Darlene Meyer. Earlene was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Meyer, as well as her mother and father.
Earlene’s Catholic faith was a guiding presence throughout her life. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, where her faithful spirit and inspirational example were known to those around her. At home, she found joy in the simple and meaningful things: she loved her cat, Taz; collected crystal figurines; and enjoyed singing and dancing. She also spent many hours crocheting, a gentle craft that suited her patient, devoted nature.
