Gary Gene Heideman, born on July 17, 1956 in Kansas City, MO., died on Sunday April 15, 2012, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, friend and an inspiration to many. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gail. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Heideman, brother, Bill Heideman, 3 children (Joey, Jimmy and Heather) and their spouses (Kate, Tammy and Jimmy), who he always regarded as children of his own, and 6 grandchildren (Shelbeigh, Lexi, Heidi, Kennedy, Hannah and Jimmy).
A Life Celebration Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday April 21, 2012, at the Impact Fellowship Church, 12011 West 127th Street, Overland Park, KS with the family receiving friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Greater Kansas City and/or the American Diabetes Association in memory of Gary Heideman.
