Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 18, 2010 at Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
Hazel was born January 1, 1935 in Spring Hill, Kansas to Henry & Violet Coffey. She worked in secretarial positions for both Farmers Insurance Company and Prairie Center Church of God. Hazel was a long-time member of the Prairie Center Church of God of Prophecy.
Hazel is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Newson is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Glenn Newson; Her three children, Carol Pippin, Dennis Newson, and Sheryl Gilliland; sister, Mary Doerfler and family; 5 grandchildren, 4 Great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Hazel excelled in life as a mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her and will be in our hearts forever.
