I have so many memories with Jaedyn, he was one of the first friends I made in high school. He was my first boyfriend, he introduced me to dubstep of the song Crave You by Flight Facilities and we were always goofing off. He was the first one to tell me they loved me in a movie theater late at night. He was always there for me and always noticed me when no one else did. He is such a light that shared his positivity with everyone and I never seen him without a smile on that handsome face of his. I remember when I had dislocated my knee at some shindig we all went to and he was actually freaking out more than I was and called me an ambulance, he was my hero that night haha 🖤 
All of my memories of and with Jaedyn will always be with me and I will forever be so grateful to have known such a kind soul like him, I will carry on his words and positivity, I will carry on my dreams through him. I miss you Jaedyn so much and I hope you’re completely at peace with wherever you may be now. Until we meet again ❤️

Jaedyn was someone who always told me if i needed someone to talk to he would listen, he always came to me when i was upset or sad. He always knew how to cheer up anyone, no matter if he knew them or not. He had the most kind heart, the biggest smile all the time. The most amazing personality. Always so happy, I went to an old friends house 2 days before the wreck.. He gave me a big hug and told me he missed me, we had a short conversation but i knew he was enjoying life and where he was in life. He’s so strong and such an amazing man.
I never took any photos with him but my favorite one i ever took, we went to first fridays, my first fridays ever and we walked and we stayed for hours and all hung out, Jake, Eli, Jaedyn and i, we had a blast and ill never forget that. 
I found a video a few weeks ago, Jaedyn, Jake and i all were wearing the same pants, Jaedyns were white, Jake & i’s were black. 
The first time i ever met Jaedyn i went to Olathe North’s homecoming, freshman year. I felt left out because i was an Olathe South student, Jaedyn did everything he could to include me in the group, every since then jaedyn was someone i always trusted with my secrets and the one person who seemed to care about my problems when he didnt have to. Such a beautiful heart.

Though I served as his commanding officer for only a short time, his energy and his passion were amplified in all he did and I was honored to serve with him.  I was saddened to hear of his loss and I pray that the Lord helps you find comfort during this time of grief.

Oh Jaedyn, where do i begin.  I know I never ever wanted to have to write this for any of my boys.  I remember the first time I met you.  Hunter brought you home after a dance at MT and in about 10 minutes I knew your life story and i knew you were an amazing kid.   I knew Hunter would never have a more loyal friend in the world.  I thank you for being his brother.  You, Eli and Nick were always around.  Im gonna miss you!   I really dont know how we will get over you.  But i do know we will never forget or stop loving you.  Thank you for all the love you brought into the Orth home.  Miss you jaedyn.  

You were a valuable member of our Army Team.  This photo is the day you committed to becoming a Soldier and you fulfilled that commitment.  I’ll never forget your “Swagger” and the energy you brought where every you went.

I was blessed to be Jaedyn’s leader during his time in my squad. When he first came to my Squad I knew that he had some great potential, and that he was hungry to prove what he was made of. The beat memories I have with this young man was in Fort bliss, TX. He slept on the bunk above me, and always had something that he was eating, and I swear he was the only person I’ve ever known to eat 2-3 MRE’s a day of his own free will, and he was always looking for an open MRE box to rummage through. It was like no matter what he could never get enough to eat no matter how much or little he ate. He was always so passionate about life and the many possibilities that he had in front of him, it was an honor and a pleasure to have him as part of my family for the time that we had him with us.

I met Jaedyn when he was so little-he attended the daycare where I was the Director.  I remember like it was yesterday his glowing personality, his laugh and smile.  He was pretty ornery and he and I spent a lot of time together.  I think he really just enjoyed hanging out with me in the office!  I loved that he wouldn't leave without giving me a hug-and from reading other people's memories that never changed.  Lizz, Markayla and Charles I am so sorry for your loss.  Jaedyn grew up into an amazing young man.   He has touched so many lives in his short time of being here-I know for a fact how much he touched mine.  

I only knew Jaedyn for a few days before he passed.  Even though they were short, I don't regret them. He was so nice and caring. I added him on snapchat and from there we barely talked. But from what I saw from his snaps were amazing. Hanging out with friends, and the way he treated them was remarkable. I arranged plans to hang out with him on Wednesday but it too late. I regret not making plans earlier. But i'm just glad that I got to know him. He was a son, a grandson, a soldier, and a good friend. I hope that he was satisfied with the life he lived, and I hope and pray that his family and close friends are doing alright <3

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Jaedyn and his mother during his middle school years at Mission Trail.  Up until 8th grade my son had never played football but he decided to go out for the team.  He was nervous because the other boys had way more experience with the sport than he did.  It didn't take long for me to figure out who Jaedyn Wretling was since he was clearly the best player on that team.  Jaedyn was not only an excellent athlete, he was an awesome human being!  Jaedyn welcomed my son on the team and encouraged him to be the best player he could be even though he was new to the sport.  He didn't judge him for what he hadn't done but he encouraged him for what he could do. He didn't have to do that but he did because he was Jaedyn.  When I met his mother on the sidelines I figured out right away why Jaedyn was such a great kid.  Jaedyn Wretling was a well raised, mild mannered, kind, compassionate, polite, funny, humble leader.  He will definitely live on in my memory of what a great young man he was.   God Bless Jaedyn Wretling and his family in this extremely difficult time.  

Jaedyn was a student in my chemistry class at Olathe North.  He was such a charming young man.  So full of life and so interested in everything going on around him.  And passionate about life.  I sure enjoyed having him in my class for a year and all of his stops in my room the next year after just to check in and say hi.  What a wonderful young man.  My condolences for your loss, may you be comforted by your memories of him.  

I met Jaedyn our sophomore year of high school in advisory,  he was always so sweet and kind. Then one day he came into my work and applied and I got the privilege to know him outside of the school setting. He always went out of his way to make people laugh and have a good day. He became such a good friend to me, and supported me through whatever. I am so happy I got a chance to get to know him. 

I never had the privilege of meeting you, but I connected with your mom Markyla through work. We became friends very quickly and she began to openly talk about how very proud she was of her son. She loved you with all her heart and soul🙌🏻 Rest In Peace now and fly with the angels 🙏🏻🙌🏻

I met Jaedyn Senior year of High School in math class. He was always so helpful to me and was definitely the jokester of the class. He put a smile on my face everyday. He was so outgoing, positive, and  kind to everyone he encountered. I will never forget when he offered to take me to JCCC to take a test with him for our class and even took me out for breakfast at his favorite spot later that day. He was one of those people that just made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He was so easy to talk to and could make anyone laugh on any given day. I am thankful I had him I my life, I would have had a hard time in class with out his support! 

I met Jaedyn in middle school and it was during class can’t remember which one but he kept making everyone laugh. Our relationship grow stronger each year and stronger in high school. Jaedyn was always a good little brother to me and always made sure I was okay. Like one day I was walking in the hallway in middle school and I was upset about a relationship he came up to me and talked me and then kept trying to get me to smile finally gave in and laugh with him. There was also want time I was walking into class but Jaedyn saw how upset I was about something and wouldn’t let me walk into class until I cheered up and had a smile on me face! I loved how everyday in school he would say hi to me no matter what time or anything he would say hi and wavy or give me a great big hug I miss those hugs but I’m always going to miss those hugs from Jaedyn. He never gave up on making someone smile, he didn’t care if u didn’t want to he still did it because he never liked seeing people upset or down. I remember we were going to date but we both told each other no because we were better off as being brother and sister. Jaedyn was like a brother to me and always made me smile and happy. I’m going to miss u bubba you will always have a place in my heart and you will never be forgotten. My best memory about you is you would come into my job asking for a hug after you would buy gas or something to drink and then you told me I had to name my son after you because I couldn’t decide a name for him but guess what I still have your name in my mind for the next baby boy I have!!! I love you bubba and I miss you a lot. Which I could’ve met Phoenix but I know now you are watching over him. Love you Jaedyn❤️

I met Jaedyn about 4 years ago. He was always a happy and fun person to hang out with. I remember one day him, Hunter, and Eli all came out to Lawrence to visit me at my apartment, and we had a blast! We hung out in the pool and got caught up with each other. That day he had to head back to Olathe, and instead of Hunter and Eli driving back with him, I spent over $50 on an Uber, lucky for him, the car they took got towed anyway. We all laughed about it afterwards. I’ll never forget all of the fun times we had together, and all of the mishaps that lead to funny stories.

Meeting Jaedyn feels like it was just yesterday. I moved to Olathe in 6th grade, and was introduced to Jaedyn by his brother Treston Morris. I knew right off the bat he was a special kid, he was one of those guys that could turn a bad day into one of the best days you’ve ever had. He just had a way with people like none other. We would laugh and joke around, as well as fight just as brothers do! I’m sure his family was wondering if i had a home at one point because i would be at there house for weeks straight at a time hanging with my new brothers Jaedyn and Treston. We have shared many memories together, from playing video games into the wee hours of the night, listening to music, and playing airsoft. All of these memories I will forever cherish. But above all my favorite memory with him, was when Eli, Hunter, Jaedyn and I went paint balling which ended in Jaedyn and I getting pelted from 10 feet away by Eli, it was a good laugh now that i look back on it but at the time it wasn’t.

With all the memories shared my I want to conclude this with saying thank you to Liz, Treston and Eden for showing me love as if i were one of there own it means the world and more to me. 

I met Jayden about 12 years ago when his Mom (Lizz) started playing on my softball team. He would come to our games with Lizz and he liked watching.  Jaedyn  and I became very close through the years. I was able to watch him play football and baseball for many years and I loved watching him play. I was so proud of him to be involved in sports and proud to be in the stands watching him play. He was a incredible athlete. Jayden was always smiling and gave great hugs. He called me to ask if I would be a reference for his first job and he was so excited to call and tell me he is going to serve our country. I was so proud of him. I watched him grow up to be a funny, talented, polite, respectful, very caring for others, and a handsome young man. His mom taught him all these things (Lizz). His mom and I are also very  close. He sent me a text on May 6th to just say hi and he missed me and loved me. He told me he would be here June 24 until July 8th and wanted to have his mom set up a time to all three have dinner so he could see me.  I never got that chance. We all have busy lives and forget things and I missed my chance to see him and didn’t believe the shocking news. 😢 It hit me hard. I love him so very much and will miss everything about him. He was doing something with his life. The last time I talked to him was when I sent him a birthday text, which was 2 days before mine. He said he missed me and loved me and I will keep those texts forever. Heaven gained an angel. I will always have a special place in my heart for him that can never be replaced. I love you Jaedyn and will see you one day 😉

Me and jaedyn grew close during football one of my favorite memories of me and him was in weights class. He was always so hyper and exciting to be around during that time. And I lifted alone in weights but he had no partner and said hey gauge max with me today so of course I did. We had to do power clean and I asked him if he thought I could get the weight he said dude of course get it and I asked him to hype me up for the lift and he started yelling for me and getting my ready and it brought a smile to my face because he had no cares of what people thought I told him I needed that to get going and like a great friend he did what I asked. Then it was his turn and he asked me to do the same and I don't think I was as good at it as he was because after he did the lift he said hey gauge you might wanna practice a little bit more with that. And when I looked at him he gave me his big old smile he always had and all I could do was laugh and smile back because it lit me up and made me feel better. I always will love jaedyn and his family I appreciate him allowing me to have been so close with him and will always remember him till we meet again my brother
