Jim was born June 29, 1947 to William and Lorraine (Wiber) Hollins. Upon his graduation at Northeast High School in 1966, he joined forces with the USMC and served faithfully and honorably for 3 years in Vietnam.
Mr. Hollins was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie and sister Dee.
Jim is survived by his wife, Billie; daughters, Leigh (Ruben) Martinez and Michelle (Karl) Stephenson and son, Chris (Corren) Hollins. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Vada (Rob) Martin, Jeanne (Roy) Strange, Karla (Leo) Favordio and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am, Saturday, December 19, 2015 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula St, Olathe, with burial following in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11am prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Olathe Hospice House or Wounded Warriors Project.
