Jerry Howard Forshay, Sr., age 77, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on February 16, 2019. A private "Celebration of Life" will be held to honor Jerry. Mr. Forshay was born January 4, 1942, in Merriam, Kansas. He was a man of honor, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband and father to six children and hard-working employee of Bayer US for 29 years. He loved to laugh and enjoyed comedians such as Red Skelton, Jerry Lewis, and the Marx brothers. His favorite types of music were Country & Western and Gospel music.
He was preceded in death by father Howard Meeks Forshay, mother Ruth Pankratz Forshay, brothers Olson and Glenn Forshay, and son William George Forshay.
Survivors include his wife Beatrice Forshay, brother Clarence Forshay, and five children (Flynda Russette, Jerry Forshay, Jr., Rachel Burkes, Christina Lawson, and Camilla Williams). He is also survived by nine grand children and five great-grandchildren."
