Judy Fuller passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, surrounded by those she loved. She was a week and a half shy of her 78th birthday. Over her life, she was a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend.
She was born in 1947 in Olathe, KS and in the house that the family occupied on Chester Street. She was a lifelong member of The Church of God of Prophecy, where she was raised, served, and worshipped. She retired from Honeywell, where she had worked since way back when it was King Radio. She loved to read, read, read- both The Bible, and mysteries. She loved going to the theater to see a movie and she loved to travel…by car. She wasn’t a fan of flying but she enjoyed going on road trips with friends and family.
She was simultaneously the strongest and the softest person you’ve ever met. She supported this family through love and loss, heartache and happiness, and always with compassion. She spent her life living and loving the word of God. She never denied you her time, her embrace, her understanding, or her love.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cleon, her mother, Pearl, her older brother, Lyndel (Kay), and her little sister, Janice.
She leaves behind her older brother, Ron (Lynell), her baby sister, Cheryl, and her older sisters, Charlene and Joyce (Tom). In addition, she leaves too many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great grandnephews, and great grandnieces to list by name.
In her home, she would write herself affirmations of her faith, both in scripture, and in her own words. One note featured prominently in her kitchen reads:
“God loves you more than you can possibly understand. Keep fighting. Keep moving forward. Keep your faith in Jesus. Things will be ok. It will all work out the way God wants it to.”
Services will be held at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 E. Loula St. Olathe, Kansas on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with reception to follow at 12:00 p.m. hosted by Prairie Center Church of God of Prophecy 105 South Montclair Drive Olathe, Kansas.
