Julianna Douglass

Judy was born on December 18, 1931 in Galena, KS to John and Mary (Francis) Wilson. She married Charles Douglass on November 20, 1950 and to this union were born two sons, John and Paul. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Catholic Church where she once played the organ. Judy was devoted to her faith and family, especially to her grandchildren as she was the ultimate caregiver.

Mrs. Douglass was preceded in death by her parents; John and Mary Wilson, her seven siblings, her husband, Charles L. Douglass and son, Paul M. Douglass.

She is survived by her son, John M. Douglass and daughter-in-law Katherine Douglass, six grandchildren, Rebecca Rogers, J. Michael Douglass, Jason L. Douglass, Rachel Moore, Brian Douglass and Megan Briener, as well as 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 31st at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 West 143rd Street, Olathe, Kan. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Joplin, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Assoc.
