Kent R.L. Burnett

Kent was born on April 10, 1959 in Olathe, Kansas to Billie and Darlean (Crosby) Burnett. He attended and graduated from Olathe High School. Kent worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Kent is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Kaleah Clark.

Survivors include his children: son, Billy Burnett and his wife Kelly of Lexington, Kentucky and daughter, Holly Burnett of Lenexa, Kansas. Kent is also survived by his brother Randy Burnett and his wife Loveda of Ottawa, Kansas and sister Deborah Howard and her husband Mark of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish his memory are his four grandchildren: Angell Burnett, Cameron Clark, Maleah Clark and William Burnett. Kent was cremated according to his wishes.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas 66061. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Kent's memory.
