Kevin Todd Rew

Kevin Todd Rew, 52, formerly of Olathe, Kansas passed away on June 13th, 2021 in Saigon, Viet Nam where he owned his own business. He will forever be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to everyone he knew.

Kevin was born on March 31st, 1969 in Topeka, Kansas to Darrell and Barbara (Becker) Rew. He attended and graduated from Olathe North High School. He enjoyed Theater and Photography and acted in may lead roles in his High School plays. After High School he became the lead photographer for the Kansas City Ballet and owned and operated KC Creations Photography Studio in Olathe. Kevin moved to Viet Nam and started Master Meals Viet Nam. He managed a Staff of fifteen individuals and was known for putting his duties aside to feed the homeless on a monthly basis.

Kevin is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles and Maria Becker and his paternal grandparents Forrest and Lula Rew. He is survived by his loving parents Darrell and Barbara Rew of Olathe, Kansas, son Samuel Rew of Gardner, Kansas, and Kevin's fiancé' Gia Han of Saigon, Vietnam, brothers and sisters: Ingrid Williams and her husband Jeff of West Des Moines, Iowa, Bryan Rew and his fiancé Linda Marquez of Olathe, Kansas, Monica Krumm and her husband August of Lawrence, Kansas, Brandon Rew and his wife Erin of Argyle, Texas, Jason Rew and his fiancé Tiffany Anderson of Kansas City, Kansas, Michael Rew and his fiancé Nakun Rungthiwa of Louisburg, Kansas, Mark Rew and fiancé Aubrey Kelly of Olathe, Kansas, Mary Rew and fiancé Thomas Kelly of Overland Park, Kansas, James Rew and his wife Kassie of Olathe, Kansas.

Kevin had many nieces and nephews: Sarai Williams, Michael Williams, Steffen Williams, Abbey Williams, Rebecka Williams, Patrick Rew, Mallory Krumm, Garrett Krumm, Brittni Krumm, Emily Krumm, Anna Krumm, Emma Rew, Madison Rew, Anya Rew, Aiden Rew, Juliet Rew, Braden Rew, Mavea Rew, Sutton Rew, Becket Rew. Great nieces and nephews: Auden Williams, Wren Williams, Isabel Krumm, Michael Krumm, Bryson Rew and Emmela Rew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Catholic Church 5035 Rainbow Blvd. Mission Woods, Kansas 66205. Interment immediately following in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery 15800 South Hwy. US-169 Olathe, Kansas 66062. The Rosary will be prayed at 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning, August 5th prior to the funeral Mass at the church.
