Linda grew up in Texas and while attending Wharton Community College in Texas, she met her loving husband, David “Red” Nolen. They were married on August 27, 1982, and moved to Kansas in 1985.
Linda was a very loving wife, sister and friend. She had a collection of teddy bears and every year for her birthday her husband would buy her a new teddy bear, a rose and a candy bar. She enjoyed country music, playing games on her phone and keeping up with the news. She had two fur babies, Rexylynn and Runt. Linda loved all of her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucas and Albina (Faktor) Prihoda.
She is survived by her husband David “Red” Nolen; sister Donna Compton; brothers Leroy, David and Leonard “Leo” Prihoda.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at noon at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 East Loula Street, Olathe, Kansas. A reception will immediately follow the service.
