Marion J. Crawford, 83, passed away June 15, 2011. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 20, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday at McGilley & Frye with burial following in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Crawford was born June 26, 1927, in Garnett, KS.
She was an exceptional Christian woman. Marion worked at Dales Hardware, a Homemaker and a cook for the jail. She volunteered while her daughter was in elementary school at Meadowlane. It didn't matter who needed help, she was there for whomever needed her.
She was preceded in death by Forest D. Crawford and Roy Juett; brother, Johnny and sisters Helen, Eunisann, Betty Jean and Augusta Ann.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Crawford Williams; grandchildren, Melayna, Samantha, Jordan and Jason and great grandson Xander.
