December 5, 1948 – July 14, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marvin L. Clemens, who entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2026, at the age of 77.
Marvin was born on December 5, 1948, in Des Moines, Iowa. He lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a steadfast faith in God. Marvin dedicated many years of service as a courier and mechanic for FedEx, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others.
More than anything, Marvin loved his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda Nielsen Clemens; his son, Jeff Clemens; his daughter-in-law, Anita Clemens; and his cherished granddaughter, Mallory Clemens. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Daniel Clemens, and his parents, Eleanor Clemens and Theodore Clemens.
Marvin had a deep appreciation for music and movies, finding joy and comfort in both throughout his life. His greatest passion, however, was his faith. He loved God deeply and made it his mission to share that faith with others whenever he could. Through his words, actions, and example, Marvin touched many lives and offered encouragement to those around him.
Those who knew Marvin will remember his kind heart, his dedication to his loved ones, and his unwavering belief in God's grace. Though he will be greatly missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that his legacy of faith, love, and perseverance will continue through those he leaves behind.
Marvin will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew him.
