Noble Lee Siroky passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Olathe, Kansas, surrounded by his devoted wife and four beloved daughters. He was 97.
Born in Wichita, Kansas, Noble was raised on a farm in Butler County, where he developed the values of hard work, integrity, and resourcefulness that would define his life and inspire those around him. He attended Wichita State University before serving his country with honor in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he earned a Bronze Star for his bravery.
A natural problem-solver with a gift for mechanics, Noble could fix and build just about anything. He generously shared his knowledge, skills and wisdom with his daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren leaving behind a legacy of practical knowledge and a spirit of empowerment that lives on in his family.
Noble dedicated 35 years to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in a management role. Upon retirement, he returned to the farm where he was raised, built a home, and embraced the outdoors - hunting with his sons-in-law and fishing with his grandchildren. Together with his wife, Rose Siroky (née Shea), he traveled extensively across the United States and throughout Europe and Ireland.
Flying small airplanes was among Noble’s favorite pastimes, a reflection of his adventurous spirit. Noble was a man of unwavering morals, quiet discipline, and a tireless work ethic - values he lived by and passed on through example to those who knew him best.
Noble is survived by his loving wife of over 65 years, Rose, and his four daughters: Mary Christine Wickham (Gale), Deanna Lynn Herman, Janell Kay Breen (Bill), and Julia Lee Liebelt (John Linklater). He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren: Jacob Andrew Herman, Grace Olga Hicks (Jacob), Colin Shea Herman (Grace), Shaye Christine Herman, Faith Laura Wickham, and Jessica Rose Breen.
His life was a testament to service, family, and the quiet strength of a man who lived with purpose, integrity and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
