Norbert Allen Linhart

Norbert Allen Linhart, 75, of Olathe, KS, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Funeral services will be 10 am, Friday, August 2nd at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, with burial following in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Thursday, at McGilley & Frye. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Norbert was born on January 19, 1938 in Howard County, MO to James and Frances (Grisamer) Linhart. He graduated from Boonville High School and in 1966 moved to Olathe, KS. He was a member of Vista Baptist Church of Olathe. Norbert was a true outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.

Mr. Linhart was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Linhart; 2 brothers, Keith and Jerry Linhart and sister, Shirley Oncken.

He is survived by his 5 sons, Rusty and his wife Christie, Darrell, Greg, Paul and his wife Lorrye and John Allen Linhart; 2 brothers, Melvin Linhart and his wife Toni and David Linhart and his wife Lanna; 6 grandchildren, Lacey Weaver, Kayla, Angel, Steven, Megan and Jody Linhart and 5 great grandchildren, Ryan and Makaylie Weaver and Katelynn, Alissa and Max Linhart.
