Dear JR, Bill, and the entire Coyne family:  
As you know, I grew-up only one block away from your family during my childhood years, and the respect that I had for your Father was something that was ingrained within me from an early and fromative age.  As I continued with my development through adolescence and into adulthood, my affection for your Father continued to grow.  I was continually intrigued by his wholesomeness, his faith, his always ready smile, and his penchant for sharing pleasant conversation at any time.  Whenever I would stop by Kansas Builders Products to say hello, he was always gracious with his time, no matter how demanding his work schedule.  The last time that I saw Orlin was when I was visiting Bill at his home during the Holiday period of 2007.  As expected, Orlin was quite warm and humorous in his greetings, and I only wish that I would have had the opportunity to see him again within these past three years.  I was informed of Orlin's passing onto Heaven via my phone call with JR this afternoon, and it is certain that I was led to call JR at this time per a subliminal message from an unknown power; otherwise I would not have known of your Father joining Florence in the splendor of God's Heavenly Home.  There is no question in any of our thoughts that your Mother and Father are now once again enjoying the presence of each other, and it is a time of rejoicing in association with their reunion.  My strong belief in God, Jesus, and the Christian way of life are undoubtedly linked to the Church lessons and participation that were bestowed upon me by your Mother and Father. Their gift to me in this regard are indelible in the direction that I have taken in my Christian beliefs.  As I now extend to each of you my sincere condolences with the passing of your beloved Father, we can collectively take solace in knowing that he is now in the presence of an eternal life that is rich with family members that have have preceeded him into the glory of Heaven.  In addition, he is now in awe of the incredible love and warmth of God's presence.  We all have so very much to look forward in seeing him again...I know that I do!  Please except my apology for not being able to be with the Coyne family during this time in celebrating your Father's beautiful life.  Love,  Gary

Mary Etta:  Just heard about Orlin's passing today in a roundabout way.  Sorry I heard so late, or I would have been at the funeral, anyway.  I pray God's strength, courage, and prayer will get you thru this time of sorrow.  Jane Hanlon Shawnee Church of the Nazarene.

My darling Uncle Orlin was one of the finest men I've ever known. I wanted him for my own dad! He was so full of love for everyone he met, and for our Lord. Like my cousin, Bill, said, it is comforting to know he is now with my Aunt Florence in His grace.

Although my beloved Dad is not physically with me now, the memories of this kind and gentle man will forever be with me. It is such a comfort to know his spirit is now with Jesus and all the other loved ones who went before him.  I shall never, ever forget Dad's wonderful smile and the joy he brought into my life and soooo many others. I will be eternally grateful to  the Lord for giving me my loving parents....Orlin K.
