

Born on March 6, 1952, in Gardner, Kansas, Paulette was the daughter of John Wesley Burns and Marsella Blanche (Kramer) Burns. A lifelong resident of Olathe, she had many friends, never met a stranger, and was loved by her community. She lived a life of kindness, love, and acceptance.
Paulette worked for many happy years in early childhood education at Rolling Ridge Elementary School and was beloved by her students. She enjoyed traveling, especially throughout Europe, with Prague holding a special place in her heart. An excellent cook and baker, she won the hearts of her husband and family with her cinnamon rolls, pies, and cookies.
Paulette’s loyal dog, Sadie, was her constant companion, bringing her endless comfort and love. Above all, Paulette was devoted to her family and friends, always putting love at the center of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Larry Wohlford. She is survived by her husband Tom Bachelor, son Russell Wohlford (Misty), daughters Natalie Briggs (Deborah) and Ashley Johnson, siblings John, Caren, and Bob Burns, 9 grandchildren Mariah, Braeden, Alaric, Duncan, Julian, Annastasia, Roland, Rocko, and Skylar, 4 great grandchildren Eli, Lane, Theda, and Remi, best friend Marti Kelly, and many beloved family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, from 10-noon, at McGilley and Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula, Olathe, KS, followed by a committal service at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens , 13901 Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062.
