Phyllis Jean Luck, 81, of Olathe, KS, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011. Funeral services will be 10:30am, Tuesday, April 12 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Phyllis was born on July 5, 1929 in Irving, KS to Harry and Mae (Durgin) Frank. She worked for Marley Company for 29 years, retiring as the only female supervisor. She loved the outdoors, gardening and also the many family picnics over the years. Phyllis most importantly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Luck was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Luck; 2 brothers, Donald and Charles Frank and 3 sisters, Thelma Hudson, Loma Wagor and Maxine Behrens.
She is survived by her 4 children, Philip Perkins of Olathe, KS, Linda Wallace of Olathe, KS, Mark Luck of Raytown, MO and James Luck of Olathe, KS; 2 sisters, Joan Spunaugle of Frankfurt, KS and Mae Hantack of St. Louis, MO; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
