October 12, 1944 – September 13, 2023
Beloved friends and cherished family,
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of R. Jeanette Elmore at the age of 78, in Olathe, Kansas, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. 😭 Jeanette peacefully transitioned after a day filled with the warmth of loved ones, surrounded by dear friends and her two adored grandsons.
Jeanette hailed from Winfield, KS, where fate brought her and her sweetheart, Mark D. Elmore, together during their college years. They built a beautiful life and loving family, blessed with two children, Brenton Elmore and Tracie Elmore (now Kaiser). The Elmore family eventually made Olathe, KS, their home. Her grandsons, Kelley Kaiser and Nikolai Elmore, held a special place in her heart, bringing immense joy and love into her life.
Jeanette proudly proclaimed herself the "Number 1 Jayhawks fan" and was a devoted KC Chiefs enthusiast. Throughout her lifetime, she had a special fondness for dogs and welcomed them into her heart. Jeanette's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world and collect treasured keepsakes from her travels. The memories created during these journeys with her dear friends were some of her most cherished. Among the many adventures, she held dear the trips to the Ozarks with Tracie's family (husband Raymond Kaiser) and visits to Brenton’s family (wife Kirsten Bjergarde) in Tucson, AZ, and the mountains of Boulder, CO.
Jeanette Elmore will forever remain in our hearts, her spirit alive in the laughter, love, and fond memories she leaves behind.
May her soul find eternal peace and her memory forever be a blessing.
