March 9, 1962November 19, 2019

Rhonda Renee Hammer was born on March 9, 1962 in North Little Rock, AR to Gene and Joyce Redding. She grew up with her sister Rachelle, brother Robert (Kris), and uncle Rick (Connie). She passed away at home on November 19, 2019.

Rhonda married Vincent J. Hammer in a home ceremony on May 27, 1995. They have lived together in Olathe next door to Vince's family. They have had many animals to love together and have enjoyed their time living out in the country.

Rhonda had three children: Sharon Fenimore lives in Colorado with her husband Travis and dog Porkchop. Her son Gary Lee Jr. lives local with his wife Bri. Their children are Kylie, Gwyneth, Quentin, Slade and Riya. Her daughter Amanda Bickley lives local with her husband Adam and their children are Clayton and Mason.

Rhonda was a strong spirit who had a passion for horror films and any animal. She loved to research any topic and offer her advice, whether you asked for it or not. She was a caring person who did her best to make everyone feel loved and included. Her favorite thing in the world was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Rhonda loved to spoil them and was always coming up with new adventures for them.

Rhonda's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony with family. In lieu of cards or flowers, please complete an act of kindness or make a contribution to the Olathe Animal Shelter, located at 505 E. Sunvale Drive, Olathe, KS 66061.
