Rica worked for GemTech for 24 years. She was a very hard worker, extremely dependable, and willing to do whatever was needed.
Truly no one could ask for a better co worker.
Even more importantly...Rica was a wonderful person, and over the years she became my friend.
Often on her breaks she would come to my office just to see how I was doing. When ever I saw Rica out in the plant I always made a point to stop and talk with her.

I will miss her dearly, and I am sure all of you will as well.

Rica was very special to me. She was a dedicated person with very high morals and always dignified. She taught me some Spanish and acknowledged me as Tito when I told her this name was given to me by my Spanish teacher in elementary school. The last words I heard her say were in a voicemail and will always haunt me, "Hi Tito. I miss you". This was in late April or early May, after I retired. and I had missed her phone call. I tried several times to call her back and left a message, but she never called me back. Well Rica, I miss you very much too and will always love you and your family. Adiós Rica.

Ricarda Garduno was my aunt. She was the best aunt anyone could ask for. She was crazy in a good way! She had the most beautiful smile and personality. You were taken away from us to soon tia. I think of you at work and just imagine you walking around handing out doughnuts to everyone. I am always going to be thinking about the memories we had together and all the good things you have done to our family. Te quiero tia ya estas descansado y estas con nuestro Padre Dios.

Rica was more than a coworker. She was my friend and part of my family. I always told her, "I love you Garduno" because she insisted I call her Garduno. She would usually reply, "I love you ponson". For years she brought me cookies from Panera to fatten me up. It's hard to believe I will never see her smile again. She will live in my heart forever. I love you Garduno
