

Rose Marie, Miller, 89, of Olathe, Kansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, loving GiGi, grandma and friend to everyone she met. Rose was born on September 1, 1927 in Murray, Nebraska to Glenn Leroy and Esther (Ray) Thompson. She attended and graduated from Plattsmouth High School. She worked as a stenographer for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington D.C. during WWII. She also worked for the Red Cross in Omaha, Nebraska. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Esther Thompson and her husband of 44 years, Roy Dean Miller. She is survived by her three children, Karen K. Pratt and her husband David of Cape Coral, Florida, Larry L. Miller and his wife Sharen of Olathe, Kansas and Marla M. Farmer and her husband Rick of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren: Jason Miller, Jeremy Miller, Joshua Miller, Jessica Guillen, Irene Pratt, Katie Farmer and Annie Becker. She will be sadly missed by her ten great grandchildren: Isaiah, Elijah, Brendon, Emily, Joy, Shane, Lilyan, Noah, Felicity and Grant.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday afternoon September 22nd at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Interment next to her loving husband in Lewiston Cemetery Murray, Nebraska. Visitation 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21st at the funeral home.
