On January19, 1944, Shirley received the gift of Holy Baptism and became a child of God at Saint Catherines Roman Catholic Church in St. Louis. Shirley received the precious gift of the Lords life - giving body and blood in 1950 at Saint Catherines on Febuary25th 1961.
Shirley received the gift of beloved matrimony with her spouse Ken Knese. She was blessed with the gift of beloved siblings; Carol, Ray, and Greg Cromer. She was also blessed with the gift of beloved children Steve, Scott, and Annette. Later in life, she was blessed with eight beautiful grandchildren; Anthony, Samantha, Jake, Alexis, Cheyenne, Monica, Ashley, and Sydney. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren; Hosea, Charley, Leila, and Oliver.
A visitation will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 13145 S Black Bob Road, Olathe, Kansas 66062, US, on June 3, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Interment will take place at D.W. Newcomers Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 Black bob Road, Olathe, KS 66062, US, on June 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 pm.
