He will forever be remembered as a devoted companion, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he met.
Wayne was born on October 22, 1941 in Racine, Wisconsin, to Paul V. and Marcia (Bomen) Booth He attended and graduated from Washington Park High School in 1959. From 1961 to 1969, Wayne served his country honorable in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Wayne had a love for planes. Wayne and his son Danny flew and built remote control planes for over thirty years, together they spent thousands of hours flying late into the night. Wayne also had a very strong passion for poker. This lifelong hobby was taught to him by his friends in the Drum and Bugle Core in the 50’s. Wayne was still playing poker at Hollywood Casino where he loved to go on Friday and Saturday nights.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marcie Booth, brother, Ronnie Booth and his sister Judy McTrusty. Wayne is survived by his loving and caring companion of nine years, Connie Riggs of the home, son, Daniel Booth and his wife Sara of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, and step-son Rodney Riggs of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish his memory are his six grandchildren, Renesmee Booth, Wyatt Booth, Lacey Booth, Luke Booth, Austin Ludolph and Karley Masterson Wayne also leaves behind his greatly loved dogs, “Rocky” and “Maggie” who he loved so much. Wayne lived and loved life to the fullest, making everyone around him happy.
He will be sadly missed.
Wayne will be cremated according to his wishes. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
