Antonia Bartelheim, 84, passed away at her daughter's home in Massachusetts, Thursday, May 24, 2012. Born in Gajary, Czechoslovakia, she lived in Old Bridge for 35 years before moving to Manalapan 10 years ago. She was a secretary for Old Bridge Township Engineering Department for 25 years retiring in 1992. Antonia was a member of the Old Bridge Seniors and Manalapan Seniors, Deborah Hospital, and the Red Hat Society. She was active in local politics, and enjoyed reading, traveling, and playing cards & games. Antonia was predeceased by her husband, Walter K. Bartelheim, and her brother, Matthew Sefcik. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Barbara & Bob Quinn; her son and daughter in law, Robert & Kathy Bartelheim; her daughter, Judy Kalbach, and her former son in law, Rick Kalbach; her grandchildren: Christopher Quinn and his wife, Stacy, Timothy Quinn, Richard Kalbach and his wife, Ashley, Amanda Quinn, Nicholas Kalbach, Ashley Kalbach, Kendall Bartelheim, Kelley Kalbach, & Kevin Bartelheim; her great granddaughter, Aubrey Kalbach, and 2 great grandchildren on the way: great granddaughter, Teagan Quinn, and great grandson, Noah Kalbach-Archibald; her sister in law, Olga Sefcik; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ, and Wednesday, May 30 from 9-10 am.
