Carmelann Devecka

Carmelann Devecka, 73, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. Born and raised in Newark, Carmelann had moved to Freehold 10 years ago. She was a secretary for Chase Chemical in Newark for 7 years retiring in 1992.

Carmelann was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin & Rihanna Salimbene, and her brother, Anthony Salimbene. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Richard & Linda Devecka; her daughter and son in law, Susan & Larry Meany; her son and daughter in law, Dennis & Ana Devecka; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Paige, Luke, & Kyle.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 2-5pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ, with a prayer service at 4pm. Cremation will be private. Condolences can be sent to www.hegartyfuneralhome.com
