Claudio Camaroski Gavelik Sr., 47, of Old Bridge, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012. Born in Curitiba, Brazil, he resided in Newark before moving to Old Bridge 6 years ago. Claudio was a self employed truck driver for many years. He is survived by his wife, Sirlei Gavelik; his sons, Claudio Jr., and Michael Gavelik; his parents, Ivete & Milton Gavelik; his brothers, Giovani & Adriano Gavelik; and his sister, Clarice Campos. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning at 10:30am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
