Edward R. Piatkowski

Edward R. Piatkowski, 77, of Parlin, NJ, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at home. Born in Sayreville, Edward had lived in Pennsylvania before moving to Parlin 3 years ago. He was a chemical operator supervisor for American Cyanamid in Woodbridge for 41 years retiring in 1986. Edward was a simple man. He enjoyed country living, and fixing & building things around the house. He loved his family, and being around his family. Edward also loved the NY Giants and the NY Mets.

Edward was predeceased by his son, Johnny Piatkowski, in 2011, his daughter in law, Debbie Piatkowski, in 2010, his brother, Michael, and his sister, Margaret. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Edward & Kim Piatkowski, his daughter and son in law, Susann & Henry Paszun, his son, Francis Piatkowski, his son and daughter in law, Donald & Dawn Piatkowski, and his son and daughter in law, Michael & Karen Piatkowski; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his sister and brother in law, Betty & Jimmy Birardi, his sister and brother in law, Veronica & Alan Predmore, his sister and brother in law, Lorraine & Russel Anderson, and his sister Nancy Bauman.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 2, 2011 from 4-8pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Cremation will be private.
