

Frank J. LaCorte, 90, of Old Bridge, NJ, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, he had lived in Cedar Grove for 57 years before moving to Old Bridge 3 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during World War II achieving the rank of sergeant. He worked hard to complete his BS degree from New York Univ. while working for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals as a financial analyst. He retired in 1980 after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Zoning Board, the Holy Name Society, and usher at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove. He was always fixing and repairing around the house; he loved bowling, dancing, being sociable, and above all, his grandsons. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Edna LaCorte; his son, Peter LaCorte; his son and daughter in law, Jim & Sally LaCorte; his grandsons, Danny & Matt; and his sister, Sadie Iucci. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 10 at 10am at St. Ambrose Church, 96 Throckmorton Ln., Old Bridge, NJ. In Lieu of Flowers, donations in memory of Frank, can be made to the Reformed Church Home, 1990 Rt. 18, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
