Gloria Torres Morales

Gloria (Torres) Morales, 78, of Old Bridge entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Guanica, Puerto Rico, she lived in Co-Op City, Bronx before moving to Old Bridge 8 years ago.

Gloria loved being with her family and absolutely adored being a grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with family, watching sports, especially her grandsons' basketball games, and shopping.

Gloria was a secretary for Bronx Developmental Center, Bronx, NY for 26 years before retiring in 2000.

She is predeceased by her beloved parents Carlos and Juana Feliciana (Lopez) Torres; her dear brother Carlos Torres, Jr. (1989) and her devoted husband of 43 years Paul Morales (2006). She is survived by her adored daughter Kristine Marie (and Paul) Grissett; her loving brother Louis Torres; her loving sister Sonia Valenzuela and her cherished grandchildren Jaden and Lucas Grissett. Gloria also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, December 19, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Funeral Services will take place 9am Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the funeral home; mausoleum entombment to follow in St. Raymond’s Cemetery 2600 Lafayette Avenue Bronx, NY 10465.
